Mirach Energy Aims for Green Light to Start Drilling Offshore Cambodia
The firms, the International Environmental Management Company Limited and SAWAC Consultants For Development Company Limited, will work jointly and issue an EIA report, required for drilling to commence offshore Cambodia oil field Block D.
Block D spans over 3,421 square miles (5506 square kilometers) and was awarded to China Petrotech Holding Limited in 2006. One appraisal well was planned in 2008.
Assessment starts this month and is expected to be done in about six months.
