Helicopters are used in the oil & gas industry to transport workers to and from offshore oil rigs and for emergency response and rescue operations. Helicopter Pilots will be required to hold a Private Pilot’s licence and have completed a certain number of flying hours to qualify. Pilots will usually fly in a team of two comprising a Pilot and Co-Pilot.<br/>Other Helicopter Operations include the Helideck Crew who will support the landing and departure of helicopters on offshore rigs and vessels.
