Geographically surrounded by Russia to the north, India in the south, Central China to the east and the Caspian Sea to the west, Central Asia has made strides in recent years to exploit its fossil-fuel resources following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The ex-Soviet republics of Central Asia, specifically Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, boast plentiful oil and gas reserves, and the offshore Caspian region is the primary energy hub for these countries' burgeoning exploration and production operations.
The Contract Administrator is in charge of all contracts between customers, suppliers, employees, and partners. They are tasked with negotiating new contracts and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the contracts. They also manage the ongoing support of contracts and administrating any changes or amendments to current contracts. Although involved in all types of commercial contract, the creation of construction or drilling contracts, are more complex and involve technical specs and intellectual property agreements.
