Job Description

We are looking for a senior global HR leader to take on a 3-4 year assignment leading the EMEA Integrated Resourcing function. This role will form an important aspect of your professional development and upon completion you will be encouraged to move into another HR leadership role within the organisation, in line with our career development framework.
We are open to generalist/business partnering backgrounds, or people who enjoy rotating through HR CoE's. Previous resourcing experience is not required for this role but do need to see a genuine affinity to the acquisition and/or management of talent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a true leader of people to learn a new discipline and contribute to Shell's strategic objectives through the lens of resourcing.

The role
Reporting to the VP Integrated Resourcing, you'll be managing a team of 5 direct and 30 indirect reports across the EMEA region with strong interfaces to senior HR Stakeholders and Hiring Managers in the respective countries as well as to the Global HR Operations and Global Recruitment Marketing teams.
Working across Shell's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region your 5 Country Resourcing Manager's (UK, NL, Germany, Russia, Middle East and Africa) are responsible for attracting, assessing and appointing talent, which will include staff moves, experienced professional (XP) and graduate hiring. To succeed, you'll need to cultivate and communicate a clear vision, setting goals for yourself as well as others, whilst also juggling individual country specific targets.

A proven strategic thinker, your focus will be on identifying priorities and projects, guiding HR managers to improve business outcomes. More specifically, you'll be overseeing operational delivery across multiple areas, keeping abreast of a range of international laws and compliance, and consistently ensuring a high-quality supply of people for a wide range of roles. You will also use your thought leadership to build future ambition with a point of view on how topics such as technology, employer branding and diversity can contribute in creating a world class resourcing function.

?
?The role can be based from either of our head offices in The Hague or London (Waterloo). You may expect monthly visits to either of these locations and occasional EMEA travel.
