The Global Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for all recruiting activities in the Western Hemisphere, ensuring the highest level of staffing services. This position consults with hiring managers and human resource managers to anticipate both short and long term staffing needs, providing short and long-term recruitment strategies, and ensuring a direct and consistent flow of qualified applicants is available to meet the ongoing talent needs in the region (including university relations). This position will have oversight of global 3rd party vendors (eg. Applicant tracking system, sourcing channels etc) and partners with IT and the HRMS Manager to ensure a stable and continuously improving applicant tracking and hiring system.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages (direct and/or functional) and provides leadership to Talent Acquisition resources in the Corporate office and Geozones
Vision and Strategy;
Acts as a member of the Global Talent Acquisition leadership team and provide input with the development of standard global procedures related to Talent Acquisition practices
Establishes and maintains the University Relations program to ensure future talent pipeline
Partner with internal Corporate Communications and any necessary 3rd party vendors to establish and maintain an effective and engaging Employer Branding experience
Safety and Compliance;
Designs and continuously improves an efficient and compliant hiring process
Provide input to annual budget and track towards that budget
Manage, track and define annual targets for Recruitment spend (i.e. job boards, advertisements, outside agencies)
Develop and utilize staffing plans and sourcing strategies to proactively identify future recruitment needs
Coordinate and attend recruitment events including job fairs, conferences, meetings, etc...; represent and effectively provide information about our organization to interested attendees
Assess the community demographics and create a candidate pipeline that meets diversity hiring initiatives
Monitor and maintain integrity of requisitions on Applicant Tracking System to ensure the recruitment activity is accurately reported, and use these reports to identify issues and develop solutions
Client and Communication;
Establish and maintain successful relationships with recruiting partners, universities, community partners, search firms, temporary staffing agencies, professional associations, and other organizations that provide recruitment value
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Human Resources managers to evaluate and implement recruitment plans
Strong organizational skills and high degree of attention to detail and follow through.
Ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail.
Comfortable working with teams in different office locations, and promoting teamwork.
Confident with the ability to effectively and quickly adapt to an ever-changing work environment and priorities.
Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to seek creative solutions to problems as they arise.
Familiar with information/applicant tracking or recruiting databases/systems.
Knowledge of labor markets, employment law, and compensation analysis.
Knowledge of Talent Acquisition reporting, data analysis, and understanding of Talent Acquisition metrics.
