Drives Revenue and profit growth through the creation and conversion of strategic business opportunities.
Supports the local leadership team in the formulation of business plans by providing market data, support and resources. Works to translate all business plans into meaningful sales plans and targets. Manages all area sales resources towards the effective and compliant delivery of targets, tracking and reporting performance on an ongoing basis.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive Revenue & Profit Growth through the creation and conversion of strategic business opportunities
Manage the efficient, effective and compliant use of resources in the support of country sales.
Develop and execute strategic plans to strengthen WFT Identity by understanding customer/industry key objectives and challenges and emphasizing and aligning our Core Capabilities.
Drive Company Alignment by ensuring the integration of all sales activities into a single sales plan
Adopt and drive high quality use of Technology (Salesforce.com, TPMS, etc)
Mentor and train the sales and commercial team and ensure succession planning processes are in place
Lead, develop, manage and motivate a team of direct and indirect reports
Establish clear, achievable and challenging objectives for direct reports. Monitor performance quarterly to ensure highest chance of success
Promote the highest possible values and principles to direct reports
Promote the Weatherford culture at all times
Drive cohesion and common purpose in a changing environment to all sales and sales related personnel
Bring rigor and process to the sales function
Learn and understand client's needs and tailor service offering to meet or exceed their requirements
Work closely with the RPLM to identify commercial opportunities both with new and existing clients
Manage the tender development and response process. Ensure all resources are available for highest quality tender submissions
Liaise with the legal department for contract drafting and execution
Lead and manage all client commercial arrangements to ensure best value and long term viability
Foster the development of relationships with clients to enhance the profitability of the company
Evaluate sales opportunities, educate the market and generate effective proposals
Develop and execute sales campaigns. Support contract negotiations and closing deals where possible
Assemble and disseminate market intelligence
Deliver presentations to clients as needed. Participate in relevant industry forums and other marketing events
Develops and implements business retention and future expansion plans for the various product lines in the Region
Develops product lines promotional tactics and lead new product educational seminars
Develops and implements programs for business enhancement, business retention and business expansion;
Maintain safety as a first priority when working across all areas of the business
Undertake annual performance and development reviews with direct reports
Uphold exemplary business principles in accordance with the FCPA and Weatherford overseas trade compliance policies, setting standards of behavior and performance
Ensure all matters brought before the country management are appropriate and objectively facilitate the quality of debate and decision making
Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all commercial activity is carried out ethically and in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices
Oversee all areas of business risk and ensure strategies exist to mitigate these as much as possible.
Ensure all Commercial processes are processed through TPMS to maximize efficiency of pricing and tendering
Developed Management Skills
Knowledge of the Weatherford Sales Cycle
Experience of preparing and delivering client presentations

Having broader and advanced knowledge of company policy, products, services and operations

Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Minimum 7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas tools and/or services industry
Minimum 3 years in managing a sales team
Knowledge and experience of Salesforce an advantage
Commercially astute with a track record of securing new and repeat business covering both goods and services with long sales cycles
MBA or Msc in Engineering
