Responsible for executing planning functions; including all stock items, and manufactured items. Responsible for the workorder flow throughout plant departments including creating required workorders in JDE. Work closely with the Planning Supervisor to accomplish the daily, weekly, monthly manufacturing goals of the facility.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish workflow for job orders throughout the plant in accordance with the production schedule
Monitor flow of manufactured components through each department ensuring that priority is in accordance with the daily production schedule
Create work orders in JDE and distribute to each department
Audit open work orders for completeness and accuracy
Monitor MRP messages for purchase and manufactured items
Assist the Planning Supervisor in the following functions
Planning for stock raw materials.
Planning for stock purchased components.
Planning for all component manufacturing
Planning for all finished goods assembly
Provide information to the General Manager, as required, for monthly reports.
Perform all clerical requirements, as needed, with reference to specific responsibilities.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
Supply chain and planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a team environment
Experience in Microsoft packages Excel, Word.
Strong analytical skills
Ability to effectively interface with other internal departments to insure positive results
Planning and forecasting experience
Inventory management experience
MRP systems experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
