Preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulic, rotating (including Gas Turbine and Compressors) and static equipment; participating in the development of preventive maintenance and methods; ensuring safe and efficient implementation of maintenance works carried out; and maintaining performance data files on equipment and machinery.    Review and interpret specifications provided by the manufacturers; oversee the use of the various measurement instruments; provide engineering team with specific instructions for performing mechanical procedures and taking corrective actions; ensure that mechanical installation work is completed per contract requirements; ensure that installation of mechanical equipment conforms to the design specifications and the technical requirements of the contract; and provide regular reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager.   Safe implementation of preventive maintenance schedules including determining priorities allocating Client, equipment and tools and ensuring the timely completion of jobs according to schedule and work permits;   Overseeing the repair of various equipment and troubleshooting major jobs;   Determining and implementing proper repair procedures;   Establishing clear diagnostic tests and analyses of equipment failures and submitting written reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager;   Liaising with onshore maintenance to define the optimum stock and re-order levels and to ensure availability of spare parts;   Coordinating with onshore logistics service for delivery of spare parts includes issuing requisition and following until receipt;   Participating in the review of stock levels; (9) liaising with onshore methods and planning to develop and update Preventive Maintenance schedules of all hydraulic, rotating (including gas turbines and compressors) and static equipment;   Preparing programs for the new equipment and updating existing programs according to changing operating conditions;   Ensuring optimal efficient and safety of such programs;   Coordinating with other departments, such as maintenance and construction planning, to evaluate performance of equipment and machinery and recommend modifications;   Adhering to all safety procedures and ensuring the implementation of such procedures by his engineering team;   Liaising with other departments, such as construction planning and maintenance, to prepare documentation regarding major repairs and overhaul of machinery and equipment;   Reviewing recommended engineering modifications or projects;   Studying technical feasibility and giving recommendation on choice of material;   Participating in defining the spare parts requirements for modifications and projects;   Ensuring that work orders are correctly documented;   Ensuring that permit to work procedure is being properly followed by subordinate engineering personnel.
