Education and Experience:
BS in Accounting, Engineering, Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management

TAR experience

Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse, Microsoft Office

Typically at least 10 - 15 years of experience working in Project Controls in the engineering & construction industry

Experience in at least one of the following areas required:
Design, Construction / Fabrication, Start-up Operations Support, Upstream, Onshore, Downstream or Pipeline, Automation, or Industrial project experience

 

Primary Purpose:

Performs lead role for planning / scheduling function on medium complexity projects. May lead a Project Controls team or may work independently.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures standard department tools, systems and best practices are implemented in accordance with OCG requirements
Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of assigned planning/scheduling staff
Develops, coordinates and maintains the integrated project master schedule including baseline schedule development, review and validation by project team
Develops and maintains the project planning system, ensuring that it is appropriate for tracking and executing the project
Ensures that the project's priorities are clearly communicated to project management, engineering and project controls
Implements the progress measurement and productivity reporting systems in accordance with established procedures
Participates in project management meetings and provide inputs/recommendations for the timely completion of the project
Prepares detailed analysis of the project's critical and sub-critical paths
Reviews and integrates subcontractor schedules and ensures compliance with project requirements
Provides proposal support in the development/review of proposal schedules and review of bid documents for content related to planning/scheduling requirements
Coordinates the development of schedule recovery plans as required
Assists in the professional development of the junior planning/scheduling staff
Participates and assists in the development and implementation of Project Controls functional initiatives
