Our client is looking for a subsea project engineer to join their team in January on a 9 month contract basis. This role would suit a project engineer with 4-8 years experience. Suitable candidates will have experience with subsea infrastructure ( pipelines) decommissioning projects ideally and must have previous experience with saturation diving operations to be considered for this role.
§Working within the Subsea Infrastructure Decommissioning (SID) project delivery team, the Subsea Project Engineer shall be responsible for assisting with execution of safe, efficient and compliant decommissioning of the subsea infrastructure.
§Assist with assurance of consistent, safe and legally compliant practices across all SID Operations in accordance with relevant regulations, industry guidelines, manuals and procedures to achieve safe and efficient delivery of Company subsea operations
§Review and comment on the SID EPRD Contractor campaign documentation.
§Monitoring of the auditing, assurance, competency and vetting process applied / managed by the EPRD contractor and relevant third party supporting contractors where required.
§To review and update Company documentation applicable to the management and support of Subsea Decommissioning Operations on a regular and timely basis.
Strong subsea operations experience ideally with an Operator/Duty Holder;
§Experience working with subsea contractors and saturation diving systems
§Knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
§To be fully familiar with all relevant subsea regulations, codes and guidance notes.
§To be familiar with decommissioning regulations, codes and guidance notes.
§Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work using own initiative
§Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within Company and to confidently represent the Company externally.
§Ability to work as part of a team and to build effective working relationships.
§Ability to effectively manage own workload and work within given time scales (both internal and external), ensuring project requirements are met.
§Adaptability and problem solving capability.
§Integrity and a high commitment to the performance of the role and business
