Job Summary

The Field Analyst will be the financial support for the Exploration & Production Operations and Engineering teams in Anadarko's Colorado Assets. This position is located in Anadarko's DJ Basin Operations area with functional reporting out of our Platteville, Colorado offices.

Qualifications

 

 


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in finance, accounting concepts preferred.

  • Experience with SAP, ANORM, and Open Wells required

  • Experience working in oil and gas production operations preferred

  • Experience in the use of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships

  • Ability to perform in a demanding, busy field environment

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

 


Responsibilities

 

 


  • Provide financial support through accurate and efficient invoice coding for assigned personnel

  • Provide assistance to internal and external customers concerning invoices, data management, and other audit and partner inquires

  • Take on leadership role and responsibilities within the Financial FBP team

  • Stay abreast of changing technology through training opportunities, contact with suppliers and networking with others in your field

  • Provide analytical/financial reporting and administrative support to field operations

  • Assist in budgeting/forecasting and planning exercises

  • Maintain simple databases or use spreadsheets to conduct reviews of various data points

 

  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Follow all company procedures and established guidelines

 


Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Certifications/Licenses
Valid US driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.

Relocation
This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.

Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.

Work Schedule
This position is on a Monday through Friday 40 hour per week work schedule.
