Arbeidsoppgaver
  • Levere teknisk støtte, anbefalinger og ekspertise til våre kunder.
  • Identifisere de optimale completion/multilaterale løsningene for operatører på norsk sokkel.
  • Lede egne prosjekt/lisens fra konsept til installasjon.
  • Design av Completion Assembly for kommende operasjoner.
  • Ansvarlig for beregninger, simuleringer, risikovurderinger og prosedyrer i forbindelse med completion design.
  • Delta i utvikling av teknologi og koordinere mellom kunde og vår utviklingsavdeling.
  • Jobbe tett med Prosjektkoordinator for å planlegge alle detaljer rundt offshore operasjoner.
  • Delta aktivt i pre- og post jobb møter med både kunder og offshoreoperatører.
  • Gi teknisk støtte til både verksted og offshoreoperatører.
  • Bistå salgsavdeling med kundepresentasjoner og kontraktarbeid.
  • Sporadisk reising innenlands og noe offshore må forventes.

Kvalifikasjoner
Kandidater med Bachelorgrad (BSc) eller Mastergrad (MSc) innen relevante tekniske fag.
Minimum 5 års erfaring fra bore- eller kompletterings operasjoner er ønskelig.
Teknisk kjennskap til henholdsvis Upper / Lower / Intelligent Completion / Multilateral Technology.
Erfaring med planlegging og utførelse av operasjoner på norsk sokkel, da både subsea og plattform.
Erfaring med software som f.eks. WellCat, Well Plan, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, vil være en fordel.
Kandidater må kunne håndtere både engelsk og norsk som arbeidsspråk.

The Engineer works closely with the customer to identify and optimize solutions for their specific challenges. This person will be an important part of our local engineering team as well as communicating closely with resources in our global organization.

Job description:
  • Provide technical support, recommendations and expertise to our customers.
  • Identify the optimal solutions for operators on the NCS.
  • Take control of your own projects from concept stage to installation.
  • Responsible for calculations, simulations, risk assessments and procedures in connection with completion designs and operations.
  • Work closely with the Project Coordinator to plan all details for offshore operations.
  • Participate actively in pre and post job meetings with both customers and offshore operators.
  • Technical support for both workshop and offshore employees.
  • Assist sales department with customer presentations and contract work.
  • Some domestic and offshore travel can be expected.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor (BSc) or Master degree (MSc) within relevant technical disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Drilling / Completion operations is required
  • Technical knowledge of Lower/Upper/Intelligent Completion / Multilateral Technology
  • Experience of planning and executing offshore operations, both Subsea and Platform.
  • Experience with software such as Wellcat, Wellplan, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar is an advantage.
  • Able to handle both English and Norwegian as working language.

Founded in 1919, Halliburton is one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry. In the 1930s, Halliburton established its first research laboratories where the company tested cement mixes, began offering acidizing services to break down the resistance of limestone formations and increase the production of oil and gas, and performed its first offshore cementing job using a barge-mounted cementing unit at a rig in the Creole Field in the Gulf of Mexico. This was the beginning of what was to become the world's most extensive offshore service.

 

Halliburton took the initial steps toward becoming a worldwide company in 1926. We sold five cementing units to an English company in Burma, the start of our Eastern Hemisphere operations, and Erle P. Halliburton sent his brothers to open our business in Alberta, Canada. We opened in Venezuela in 1940. By 1946, the company – using its innovative technology – had expanded into Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the Middle East and began performing services for the Arabian-American Oil Company, the forerunner of Saudi Aramco.

 

In 1951, Halliburton made its first appearance in Europe as Halliburton Italiana SpA., a wholly owned subsidiary in Italy. In the next seven years, Halliburton launched Halliburton Company Germany GmbH, set up operations in Argentina and established a subsidiary in England.

 

In 1984, Halliburton provided all of the well completion equipment for the first multiwell platform offshore China. Two years later, Halliburton became the first American company to perform an oilfield service job on the China mainland

 

The final decade of the 20th century brought more changes and growth to Halliburton. The company opened a branch office in Moscow in 1991.

 

The company realigned its work into Eastern and Western Hemisphere operations in 2006, and in 2007, divided its service offerings into two divisions: Completion and Production, and Drilling and Evaluation.

 

Today, Halliburton offers the world's broadest array of products, services and integrated solutions for oil and gas exploration, development and production.
