Instrument Technician

Position Summary

 

 

  • Ability to Check for Correct Specifications of Instruments per Data Sheets.
  • Can Read and correlate information from P&IDs ', Loop Sheets, DATA Sheets, and Cause and Effects for Loop Testing.
  • Familiar with all Types: Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature and Controls.
  • Very knowledgeable in regards to DCS and Wiring Diagrams, for Trouble Shooting.
  • If required, Perform Bench Calibration of Instruments.
  • Working in Elevated Areas, as well as Controlled Environments, plus in-climate weather.

 


Qualifications

 

 

 

  • Minimum 3 Years' experience as an Instrument Tech in the Industrial Construction Industry.
  • Efficient with using various Test Meters.
  • Must be proficient with Connection to Instrument, both Impulse Tube Connections and Stingers of the Manifold.
  • Knowledge of Loop Folders is required.
  • Must have all Hand tools common to Loop Sales, such as Micro Screw Drivers, Pliers and Wrenches
