Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment in the plant and office facility.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preform Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) in accordance to OEPS standard before starting maintenance/troubleshooting work of any kind on machinery.
Know and understand Weatherford quality policy and complies with all requirements of the quality manual, operating and technical procedures plus workplace instructions.
Ability to trouble-shoot if problem is mechanical, electrical, nu-matic or hydralic. Should also have ability to repair.
Visually inspect and test machinery
Listen for unusual sounds from machine or equipment to detect malfunction to diagnose problem and repair machines
Clean and lubricate machines, including dismantling and repair
Maintain and repair basic electrical connections
Maintain piping systems
Repair office facility equipment
Teach routine preventative maintenance to production and maintenance workers
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work with no supervision and relate to other self-directed work groups.
Direct various other duties and activities. Assign jobs to other employees within the physical constraints of the job.
Set-up a preventative maintenance program in all areas.
Enforce all safety policies in your area
Enforce attendance and punctuality polices
Set-up training programs for your employees
Some vocational education preferred
Extensive intricate knowledge of machines used
Ability to read blue prints and electrical schematics
Knowledge of welding procedures
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams including blueprints
Basic understanding of mathematics
Familiar with hand tools and inspection devices
Ability to drive a forklift
Understand basic trouble-shooting techniques
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to follow oral instructions
Able to work closely with fellow employees
