Located in region: North America

Trained/Certified technician with industrial/power plant instrumentation and controls maintenance experience.

Provide for the documentation of maintenance activities, including the preparation, cataloging, and filing of maintenance service reports; review and evaluate equipment service reports as required to provide a preventative maintenance program that will include all periodic inspection, testing, adjustment, calibration and servicing activities necessary to assure the proper operation of instrumentation and control systems.
Implement periodic operational integrity and safety tests, coordinate both routine and emergency maintenance activities, coordinate operational system tests and fault diagnostic activities.
Provide direction and guidance to electrical technicians and become personally involved in the solution of unusual or difficult maintenance problems.
Maintain a library of current equipment operating and maintenance manuals, special test and calibrating procedures, system drawings, original equipment manufacturer's literature, specifications, and computer diagnostic files.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on analog electrical, electronic and pneumatic equipment and networks used to collect, process, transmit, receive and record data, and to regulate the operation of the final control elements in power generation and control process.
Perform periodic inspections, testing, adjustments, calibrations and servicing activities necessary to assure the proper operation of power generation instrumentation and control systems.
Perform operational systems tests and fault diagnostics to identify and correct electrical, pneumatic and electric analog and computer system failures.

  • Position requires 10-15 years' experience in power plant/industrial maintenance activities.


  • Position requires knowledge of all applicable safe working practices for power plant/industrial maintenance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Individual must be able to perform required duties, and wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Individual must be able to lift/move 45 lbs without assistance and up to 130 lbs with assistance.
  • Individual must be physically capable of performing the work in extreme temperatures, low humidity, blowing sand and dust.
  • Individual may be required to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Job may require operating at heights above ten (10) feet but not more than thirty (30) feet.
