This position is located in The Woodlands, TX working with the Tax Technology group in Corporate Tax. The primary function for this Sr Tax Technology Analyst position is to assist in tax financial data management and perform Corptax administrative duties in the areas of Federal, State and International compliance and tax basis balance sheet.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
Balanced skillset of tax technical and Corptax administration knowledge
Minimum of 4 years of tax experience required, preferably in domestic, state, and international compliance
Strong Corptax skills, preferably as a Corptax Administrator performing federal, state, international, TBBS, and provisions related tasks
Knowledge of Corptax Office/POVs, importing, querying and profile maintenance
Exposure to SAP and SharePoint a plus
Strong troubleshooting and reconciling skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines
Ability to maintain desk procedures and document new processes
Exposure to financial statements and tax audits a plus
Strong Excel skills
Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
Process and manage monthly Corptax Provision process, including entity maintenance across multiple systems (SAP, Essbase, BCS & Corptax)
Support tax department with questions and tasks related to Corptax
Comply with SOX and Tax Controls
Special projects as assigned
Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration. Master's degree preferred
CPA is preferred. Corptax and/or MS Office product certifications a plus
This position is not eligible for relocation.
Travel will be required up to 10%.
This position is eligible for the 5/40 or 9/80 work schedule.
