JOB SUMMARY

• An IT IM manager is a senior role which involves overseeing the delivery, effectiveness and overall performance of all IT infrastructure, equipment and/or provision of services on a day-to-day basis.
• The role is to make sure an organization is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of users and clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides leadership, direction and performance of technical teams to ensure the delivery of IT and IM infrastructure services
• Leads, manages and motivates technical team through change, adversity and daily operational steady state
• Engages technical and business teams to ensure the team direction, priority and focus enable corporate success
• Engineers, leads and maintains all elements of the infrastructure organization(s) and corresponding technology
• Communicates with upper-management and internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Delivers proactive, business focused infrastructure services that enable rapid business growth and smooth business operations
• Provides the vision and leadership for the team ranging from short term tactical steps to long term direction and strategy.
• Coordinates priorities between the ITIM department and user departments
• Oversees technical team in collaboration with vendor and other support teams for problem resolution

• Leads the development and maintenance of the IT and IM strategic plan
• Leads, approves and monitors major projects, ITIM budgets, priorities, standards, procedures, and overall IT performance
• Continues to seek out opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Assist the CEO to:
• Prepare monthly Management Reports
• Liaison with Petronas
• Work closely with Procurement Team for timely delivery and within budget constraints

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsibility for his/her own health and safety and that of other persons affected by his/her activities;
• Supporting the implementation of the HPB HSE Objectives and Action Improvement plans;
• Support & participate in HSE Audits;
• Report hazards, incidents and near misses in his/her place of work;
• Identify areas for continuous improvement;
• Participate as requested in Office Safety Meetings & work place inspections; and
• Actively involved in office Emergency Response drills.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment
• Ability to communicate and exchange information
• Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data
• May be required to work extended hours for special business needs
• May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs including going offshore

Minimum Education:
• BS in IT or equivalent experience required


Minimum Related Work Experience:
• 7+ years technical management; preferably 3 years in Oil and Gas Industry
