Position Description

We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer, to join Uthmaniyah Gas Plant Department (UGPD) under Gas Operations Admin Area.

Uthmaniyah Gas Plant (UGP) was brought on stream in 1980. The plant current processing capacity is 2.4 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD) of associated and non-associated gas. The plant products are NGL, Ethane, Sales Gas and Liquid Sulfur.

You will perform detailed investigation and equipment MTBF improvement and plant reliability improvement. You will perform inter-disciplinary work during the execution of gas facility projects.
Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

You must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in rotating equipment in the oil/gas industry.

You must have hands-on experience in rotating equipment maintenance and vibration analysis. As a minimum you should have FE, CMRP and vibration international certificates.

You should have strong knowledge of the international standards and codes ASME and API especially rotating equipment standard.

You should know how to conduct rotting equipment alignment in addition to the familiarity with measurements tools.
Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Conduct details investigation for the rotating equipment failures utilizing the RCA.

Plan, coordinate and prepare equipment of work specifications and bid evaluations.

Review reliability proactive programs and practices

Participate in capital project review

Provide expert advice and assistance on maintenance or reliability issues.

Monitor the major and critical rotating equipment parameters and performance.

Act as a Leader as assigned to solve special problems in your area of expertise.
