The Assembler for our Bits & Drilling Tools product line technology center assembles and tests all the products, provides troubleshooting and resolves and issues during assembly procedure.

This position is based in Houston, TX and reports to the Production Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble the components of the assigned products by studying the assembly instructions and specifications, selecting correct tools and fixtures for the job, and performing the assembly steps as per procedures
  • Test all assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing
  • Read blueprints and identify components for the job
  • Measure and set tolerances for the mechanical parts and assemblies
  • Create labor records for all transactions
  • Perform all other duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor
  • Comply with Company & Regulatory HSE, Quality and IT standards and policies
  • Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree in a related field, such as Manufacturing, Machining, Processes preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or machining processes would be a plus.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Attention to detail, neat and organized.
  • Ability to work in shifts and overtime (weekends included) as required. Flexible in working requirements as the needs of the business dictate.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
