Job Summary

The DOT Analyst will be responsible for the coordination of pipeline safety / regulatory compliance efforts for Anadarko operated liquids and natural gas pipeline systems and facilities in WTX Midstream. This position is located in Kermit, TX.


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pipeline and facility compliance activities relating to DOT CFR 192 and 195 is required.

  • Working knowledge of pipelines, facilities, and the products that are transported

  • Working knowledge of Federal and State pipeline and facility regulations

  • Ability to use good judgement while assessing risk

  • A high degree of personal organization and self-management

  • Strong initiative to work efficiently with accurate results

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment with strong analytical and time management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people, both internal and external to Anadarko

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet Explorer and Outlook)


  • Work in coordinating matters related to the implementation of DOT CFR 192 and 195 compliance, policies, procedures, and training

  • Monitor, audit, and analyze data to ensure consistent application and effective implementation of Federal and State pipeline safety / regulatory compliance programs

  • Facilitate the correction of deficiencies within a timely manner and in accordance with all Federal, State and Anadarko guidelines

  • Support the Operator Qualification (OQ) program

  • Perform Operator Qualification evaluations on Anadarko and contract personnel in accordance with the Anadarko OQ program

  • Support internal and external regulatory audits / incident investigations.

  • Develop responses to regulatory requests, as-needed

  • Conduct compliance training for field personnel, as-needed

  • Stay current with facility and pipeline regulations, industry standards, corrosion prevention and assessment methods, and other applicable technologies


High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Bachelor's degree preferred


This position may be eligible for relocation



The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%

Work Schedule

This position is eligible for a 9/80 work schedule. This position might require working weekends and holidays, where needed. Candidate must live within 75 miles of Kermit, TX office.
