The Exploration Resource Assessment Department is seeking an experienced Planning Analyst to join their world class team.

As the successful candidate you will develop portfolio scenarios, and integrate organizational knowledge that support short, medium and long range business plans.

You will manage the technical business plan that includes, opportunity assessment and valuation, forecasting, portfolio management and optimization, risk management, human capital resource planning, and capital planning.
Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will have a bachelor degree in geosciences, engineering or any other relevant degree.

You will have a minimum of 10 years technical business planning experience working for a major or independent oil company.

Five years of this experience will include, opportunity assessment and valuation, forecasting, portfolio management and optimization, risk management, human capital resource planning, and capital planning.

You will have a strong management presence and communication abilities that drive influence among senior leaders across the organization

Experience is required in commonly used petroleum planning software.
Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Ensure the Exploration opportunity portfolios are fully populated with all necessary data.

Collaborate with the planning and performance management group to jointly develop all necessary Exploration forecasts and plans.

Have oversight and govern Exploration's annual business and investment planning general instructions.

Drive the amalgamation and alignment of all Departmental plans ensuring seamless integration with the Exploration plans.

Collect, integrate and catalogue material data/information/knowledge from other upstream organizations that would definitively impact the Exploration planning processes.

Ensure each Department's objectives, strategies, initiatives, actions and KPIs are aligned to the business plans.
