We are seeking a Crisis Management and Business Continuity Advisor (CMBCA) to join the Oil Supply Planning and Scheduling Department (OSPAS).
OSPAS's mission is to deliver quality products — in a manner that is timely, optimal, safe, and environmentally responsible — to the local and international customers through maintaining viable recovery strategies that preserve the continuity of Saudi Aramco operations. OSPAS performs the following major functions: Supply and distribution of oil, gas, and refined products, Terminal Planning, Supply Planning and Optimization, and Corporate Emergency Management & Continuity.
Corporate Emergency Management and Continuity (CEMAC) Organization will ensure that incidents involving Saudi Aramco interests having the potential to cause significant loss of life, property, reputation, or business interruptions are managed accordingly.
The primary role of the CMCA is to develop corporate emergency management and continuity plans that will address industrial and nonindustrial incidents, as well as natural disasters, to assure Saudi Aramco's ability to operate optimally during a crisis.
As a successful candidate, you must hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, with an additional professional qualification in Crisis Management or Business Continuity Management from recognized institutions such as BCI, DRII, FEMA/EMI etc.
You will have more than 10 years of professional experience (preferably within the oil and gas industry) with at least 5 years in a leading role in Business Continuity Management or Crisis Management.
You will also:
Have the ability to work with organization's leadership during incidents and handle crisis situations.
Have working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS), governmental/national response frameworks (e.g., NIMS), and continuity of operations procedures.
Have the experience and ability to maintain effective working relationships with members of management, public relations, government officials, partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
Have experience in working with related functions, including emergency management, safety and health, project management, IT, risk management, safe operations, exercise and drill planning, and management system assessments.
Be able to work with minimum supervision on relatively unstructured tasks.
Have experience and demonstrate evidence of developing business continuity plans in large and complex organizations.
Have experience as an adult trainer or educator in Business Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Crisis Management Knowledge.
Have proven experience in driving the Business Continuity/Crisis Management Program through influencing senior business leaders, facilitating decision making and managing cross-functional teams in multi-cultural environment.
Possess knowledge of Emergency Systems:

Emergency Communication Centers
Crisis Management Centers
Good knowledge about ISO 22301 and other internationally recognized systems.
Have general knowledge in Business Resilience, Business continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Crisis Management best practices

Duties and Responsibilities
you will be required to perform the following;
Design, develop, and test disaster-preparedness schemes.
Work with appropriate organizations in Saudi Aramco to ensure that threats associated with the Company's Business Plan, Strategic Plan and Investment
Plan are identified and managed appropriately.
Create or improve crisis management structures, systems and processes
Establish and maintain process and required infrastructure that allows for coordination of Saudi Aramco response to external incidents.
Ensure appropriate communication and coordination with stakeholders.
Establish and test a "crisis communication" between company, non-company agencies, and Joint Ventures.
Evaluate corporate resource needs and develop corporate strategies for improvement by evaluating emergency preparedness areas for improvement within proponents.
Oversee the implementation and measures the performance of Saudi Aramco's CEMAC Framework
Develop status reports and management reports.
Support the planning, facilitation, and after action needs for Community sessions and outreach initiatives to address crisis management matters
Develop all training needs and conduct training for Crisis Management, including executive training, and field training of incident managers and commanders that would be in line with Industry and Company standards.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure their crisis recovery plans for critical systems and applications are consistent with the plans developed for Saudi Aramco.
Develop procedures and tools for crisis preparedness
Ensure that Business Continuity Management plans are developed to maintain and/or restore business processes within required timescales following interruption to, or failure of critical business processes.
Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and testing Business Continuity and Crisis Management Programs, and support business activities as necessary to enable Saudi Aramco to manage all undesired events.
Prepare, deliver and implement a corporate business continuity and crisis management awareness program, including the delivery of appropriate staff training at all levels.
Support enhancements to Saudi Aramco's business continuity plans and crisis response procedures.
Maintain and analyze business continuity management/disaster recovery/crisis management plans/activities to identify program risks and efficiencies.
Support planning, coordination, organization, development, conduct, and evaluation of training and exercise related events.
