Position Description

We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to join North Ghawar Producing Department (NGPD). The department operates and maintains one of the largest oil and gas separation plants with their associated utilities facilities, in addition to a large network of piping. It is responsible for producing oil and gas in a safe, efficient, reliable and cost effective manner.
Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

You must have a minimum of 10 years' experience with rotating equipment.

You should be at a mastery level of troubleshooting rotating equipment problems on gas compressors, multi-stage water pumps, single stage vertical & horizontal pumps for crude oil, dry and wet seals on gas compressors, and wet seals on pumps, and Motors.

You should be able to read/analyze vibration spectra and identify root causes of vibration issues on rotating equipment.

You should be knowledgeable about requirements and familiar with but not limited to API-610 Centrifugal Pumps, API-617 Centrifugal Compressors, API-692 Dry Gas Seal, and API Standard 682 for Pumps—Shaft Sealing Systems for Centrifugal and Rotary Pumps.

You must have participated in commissioning of new rotating equipment projects.

You should be certified as minimum Vib. II or higher, and CMRP.

You must have the knowledge and skills in the following areas: Reliability Centered Maintenance- PM Optimization, RCA, FMEA, Bad Actor/Defect Elimination, RAM, and Weibull Analysis.

You should be able to conduct studies related to criticality assessment, RCA, FMEA, Bad Actor/Defect Elimination, RAM, and Weibull Analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities

You are required to perform the following:

Troubleshoot rotating equipment field problems (such as high vibration, high temperature ...etc.) and come up with required corrective action.

Troubleshoot rotating equipment/mechanical seals and issues. Also, provide recommendations by analyzing the vibration reading and field findings.

Review design of new rotating equipment.

Write design requirements of new pumps, seals, compressors.

Issue engineering design packages for rotating equipment and Issue monthly report for MTBF analysis.

Mentor young engineers.
