UniversalPegasus is seeking an Pipeline Engineer to work in Houston, Texas.
Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Work under the direction of a qualified engineer on all areas of pipeline design tasks such as: pipeline routing, alignment sheet development, HDD design, road crossings, launchers/receivers, valve sites, temporary work space, plats/sketches/deeds, non-environmental permitting, hydrostatic tests, etc.
Knowledge of DOT 192 (ASME B31.8), 195 (ASME B31.4), and applicable API codes
Pipeline construction knowledge a plus
Experience in management of scope, cost, and schedule a plus but not required.
Experience in preparing cost estimates and schedules (EPC) for pipeline projects a plus but not required.
Must be able to work on a Project Team
Familiarity with CAD Mapping, GIS Mapping, and/or MicroStation a plus but not required
FERC experience a plus but not required.
CO2 experience a plus but not required.
Pipeline conversion in service experience a plus but not required
Engineering calculations, studies, detailed design, report writing, field investigations
Interacts with other engineers, and directs designers and drafters to ensure project completion
Responsible for the technical content and quality of the work, and adherence to schedules for the assigned task or project
Selects and applies engineering principles and concepts in field of
Responsible for reporting on work progress
Performs most tasks with varying levels of supervision
May interact with clients as directed
Responsible for following corporate safety protocols
