We are looking for Refinery & Petrochemical experience candidates for world biggest single train oil refinery project.

Site based Process operations for Nigeria, Lagos.

Qualification - Bachelor's degree or a related science as appropriate to the required discipline. An advanced degree is preferred.

Experience - Minimum 15 years - 20 years from Oil & Gas / Construction / Infrastructure.

Job Summary

Should be capable of performing Costing, scheduling and Planning of Projects at feasibility, Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design, Construction & Commissioning and managing the work within the allocated budget and effectively plan to complete it within schedule. An effective resources planning capability is essential.

Working Experience with Quester, MS Project & Primavera is essential.

Should be able to work without supervision.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountabilities

Major Activities

Performance indicators

Review and Approve

Planning Packages prepared by third party like design consultants or EPC Contractors.

Timely and precise Approval resulting Cost effective solution.

Cost Preparation and Analysis

  • Costing of the all phases of Projects in accordance with AACE Guidelines from Feasibility till Commissioning.
  • Analysing the various elements of the Costs and monitoring them regularly; generating the report and producing it for Management Appraisal.
  • Prepare Cost in accordance with AACE Guidelines.

An accurate Costing Package

Resources Management

  • Estimation and Managing resources in terms Money, Machinery and Manpower.
  • Budget Preparation and getting it approved by EM / PM

Timely Availability of all the required resources.

Planning of all project activities

  • Planning of all activities of the Project during various phases.
  • Integrated planning for entire Project from scratch to handover to the Operator.
  • Effective Planning

Scheduling

  • Preparation of Project Master Schedule at tendering / Bidding stage
  • Detailing it further at various stages for implementation as well as monitoring during execution stage.
  • Preparing P10, P50 & P90 Schedules by using Primavera Project Planner (P3, Version 3.0 and P3e/c Ver.6.0) for Time Scale monitoring.
  • Precise and effective Schedules (P10, P50 & P90) for individual Project Activities.
  • Integrated Project Schedules

Planning

  • Planning (including Resource Planning) of Man, Machinery and Money.
  • Measurement, Monitoring, Reporting of projects at Conceptual, FEED and Detailed design stages.at every step of Project.
  • Preparing Manpower, Equipment & Materials requirement /deployment plan for required progress of the Project.

 

 

Reports

Training Junior Engineers

Impart Training to the Young Engineers so that they start supporting to their reporting Officer of the Company. The training should be imparted in the field of MS Office programs like Excel (including Macro Programming), Power Point and MS Word. Should be capable of generating Bar Charts, "S" Curves, Histograms, and Resource Analysis etc. by providing bare minimum data and dates which is similar to some extent being done in Primavera.

Progress & Resources

  • Report on weekly and Monthly basis about progress of the Project
  • Prepare 30 days and 90 days look ahead report.
  • Weekly, monthly and Look Ahead Reports.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Educational Qualifications

Engineering Degree is essential. Post Graduate Qualification desirable and shall be preferred.

Certification Required

Affiliations with the professional bodies is beneficial but not required

Functional skill

Analytical Ability, Sound Engineering Background with Exposure to latest Costing, Scheduling and Planning Software. Sound Knowledge in Microsoft Office.

Behavioural skills

Leadership Quality, Good Inter-Personal Relations, Team Work

Relevant (Functional/Level)

Minimum 8 years in the Functional Area in Oil & Gas Industry.

Total Years of Experience

Minimum 12-15 Years in Oil & Gas Industry
