HIGH LEVEL JOB DESCRIPTION/SCOPE:
Well Site Company representative for Plugging and Abandonment operations. Supervise field activities to ensure all OE, safe work practices and regulatory requirements are in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Candidates will be required to travel to well site locations throughout the San Joaquin Valley Business Unit. Minimum of 5 years P&A experience or 10 years workover experience. US Payroll only and relocation costs will be considered during candidate selection. The position is 9/80 field position. Company paid business travel will be required for certain locations.
High School or Equivalent Education.
Five years Plug and Abandonment Experience or 10 years Workover Rig experience
Coil Tubing and snubbing experience is a plus.
CRITICAL SELECTION CRITERIA:
Planning and execution of onshore well intervention and/or well abandonment operations, including cement circulation and squeezing. Experience with rigless well P&A operations is desirable. Experience with coil tubing and snubbing unit operations, particularly in milling and fishing activities, is required. Experience desired in remediating behind-pipe flow (primarily gas). Project coordination experience in executing well intervention, workover, and/or well P&A operations is required (minimum 10 years experience desirable). Well control certification required. Computer skills in MS Office and Access desireable.

VALUE CREATION / PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT:
1.) Closely monitors operational parameters & utilizes data to improve efficiency.
2.) Gathers lessons learned, best practices & process improvement suggestions from UBU well improvement team to continually improve safety and execution performance.
1.) Works effectively with both internal and external business partners in well P&A execution efforts.
2.) Provides clear expectations to business partners at well-site safety meetings.
3.) Proven ability to manage contractors and manage onsite activities including: cost estimating, scheduling, preparing work scopes, inspections, tracking and reporting.
