Position Description:
Saudi Aramco, long known for its leadership in oil exploration, production, and refining, is seeking experienced professionals to join the growing Unconventional Resources exploration efforts.
Unconventional Exploration have an immediate requirement for an experienced Production Engineer with relevant artificial lift expertise in unconventional reservoirs, with previous experience in hydraulic fracturing, completion design and production optimization in general

Minimum Requirements:
A successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering with post-graduate studies being a plus for the position.

You must have minimum of 10 years of production engineering and artificial lift experience, and part of that in unconventional reservoirs with the ability to perform nodal analysis.

You must have experience in unconventional resources or HPHT/Tight Gas with a strong understanding of hydraulic fracturing.

Experience with relevant software such as Prosper, RodStar, SROD, Saphir, WellCat and Gohfer/StimPlan (or equivalent) is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform production engineering duties, including:

Determine optimum artificial lift solutions to maintain productivity of wells.

Design surface equipment, wellbore tubulars, and bottom hole assemblies for artificial lift and propose alternatives if required.

Evaluate the performance of artificial lift systems and recommend improvements as necessary.

Perform studies and project assuring adequacy and conformance to overall objectives for all phases of problems in all areas. This includes stimulation, production, well design and testing programs, reservoir flow properties, and fluid studies.

Own the quality and implementation of optimization tools.

Work closely with the surveillance organizations, and plan, monitor and validate surveillance activities for wells to ensure optimum well productivity.

Provide input to pilot design and interpretation.

Work with vendors in designing and implementing artificial lift solutions.

Conduct flow assurance analysis.

Analyze and resolve water chemistry issues. Monitor corrosion and resolve paraffin and scaling issues.

Conduct nodal analysis.

Implement industry best practices and exchange of learnings with other similar unconventional gas assets.

Coach and mentor other production engineers and graduates within the team.
