Job Summary

This position is located in Anadarko's Rockies Region as a member of the Wattenberg Midstream COSF Operations Team in Platteville, CO.


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in PSM, RMP in an oil & gas upstream, midstream, or petrochemicals environment preferred

  • Possess strong working knowledge of oil and gas production and processing operations and of safety management systems such as PSM, RMP.

  • PC proficiency; experienced use with Microsoft Suite of products to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Spotfire

  • Must have strong communication and people skills and possess ability to work effectively with individuals of all backgrounds, skillsets, and education

  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working under minimal supervisor direction

  • Must be capable of leading and influencing individuals and teams at all levels of the organization to achieve the goals, expectations, and effectiveness of the site's PSM program

  • Must be willing and able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and working conditions


  • Provide overall coordination to the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the site's PSM, RMP, and MOC program

  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and support staff to promote open communication and ensure all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities relative to PSM

  • Work with all stakeholders to foster a positive, interdependent safety culture which promotes "want to" attitudes and true care and concern for one another

  • Work with all stakeholders to develop, implement, monitor, and improve site-specific procedures and processes necessary to achieve PSM effectiveness

  • Provide oversight, technical input, and quality assurance for all elements of PSM

  • Ensure Operational Risk Management principles including hazards identification, risk assessment, risk acceptance, and barrier and safeguard management are integrated into the site's PSM program and daily work activities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and technical resource on PSM and operational risk activities

  • Engage and network with PSM Coordinators at other locations and outside the company to learn and share best practices

  • Serve on audit and incident investigation teams within the company


High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor's degree in an engineering, science, industry, or health and safety field preferred.


Candidate must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.


This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.

Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.

Work Schedule

Typically a 40 hour / week Monday - Friday schedule with 24/7 on call duty required.

Candidate must live within 50 miles of Platteville, CO.
