  • Perform welding applications as instructed by supervisor.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, process charts, check sheets and work related documents.
  • Perform the appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance of gas shielded, tungsten fed wire-welding machines and/or PTA
  • Operate within standard operating procedures and adhere to safety practices.
  • Perform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Assist facilitating team in diagnosing, troubleshooting and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand welding specifications.
  • Requires technical skills, attention to detail, good verbal communication skills, ability to troubleshoot and solve a variety of welding problems.
