The Operations Specialist is responsible for field business functions including all clerical and accounting related tasks necessary for efficient operations at the field office. This position is in Anadarko's Delaware Basin as a member of the Field Business Process Midstream Team in Orla, TX.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in business administration and/ or administrative support.
- Professional demeanor with an emphasis on customer service
- Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks in a growing and fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in MS Office suite (critical apps Excel & Word)
- Experience with SAP, Oil and Gas Industry and/or an accounting background is preferred but not required.
General Office: Answer phones, greet visitors, filing, order supplies, mail distribution, ensure facilities are maintained, etc.
A/P Functions: Code/monitor invoices and P-card transactions, maintain local checks and signature cards, handle vendor inquiries, request new vendor setup, provide billing info, educate vendors on requirements, etc.
Time & Labor: Enter/review time entry, manage task profiles, ensure labor distribution are correct, etc.
Fleet Management: Coordinate company vehicle orders, disposals, and administration in ARI. Gather and enter vehicle mileage.
Work Orders: Create and maintain work orders.
Projects/Reporting/Analysis/Research: Assist field personnel with special projects, tracking, data gathering, reporting, research, etc. Enter data in various operational and financial systems as needed.
Support & Training: Provide ongoing support and training to field personnel on business processes and systems. Liaison with field IT Support personnel.
Materials: Provide assistance to material coordinators such as gather field transfers, maintaining spreadsheets, routing material related invoices, etc.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.
This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 20%
This position is on a 40 hour / week schedule Monday - Friday.
Candidate must live within 75-miles of Orla, TX.
