Overview: Maintains Project Controls for small capital construction projects to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and on budget. 

Essential Duties:

  • Maintains and integrates project plans
  • Assists in development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for both cost and scheduling
  • Creates and maintains project schedules
  • Prepares look-ahead punch lists / plans
  • Establishes and maintains project documentation files and maintains construction standards library
  • Tracks, reports, and analyzes overall progress of construction projects
  • Identifies potential schedule slippage and recommends recovery plans
  • Coordinates with construction manager to identify changes in scope and creates/submits change orders to maintain project gross margins
  • Coordinates with team members to insure project guidelines are met
  • Attends project meetings and records and publishes meeting minutes
  • Prepares proposal packages for both Clients and subcontractors for bidding purposes
  • Prepare detailed estimates for proposed projects 
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:

  • Perform all essential duties
  • Identify risks or gaps in the project plan and construction schedule
  • Review construction / engineering contract specifications
  • Identify potential schedule slippage and recommend recovery plans
  • Provide a high level of accuracy with all facets of work
  • Proficiency with: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of construction projects, Compression and Production equipment
  • Skilled SAP and knowledge of Primavera helpful 
  • Project controls knowledge
  • Contract management
Minimum Experience:

  • Typically 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Project Controls experience
