•Ensure that regulatory compliance on location, in transit, and when going to the Client site, is an integral part of Line Management responsibilities and objectives.
•Strive for Zero Regulatory Infractions and Negative Media/Press.
•Evaluate and communicate applicable new rules and regulations as appropriate.
• Participates in the creation/improvement developing/improving Regulatory compliance (not limited to) to OSHA, EPA, TCEQ etc. for the NEORig Campus.
•Participates and or manages root cause analysis (where appropriate) on accident / incident with a documented remedial work plan following up to closure.
•Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
•Monitors the workplace to ensure employees follow safe practices in manufacturing.
•Produce safe working method statements and risk assessments to Rig Pad associated activiites that complies to Company and local regulations as applicable.
•Manages/creates training matrix for all Rig Pad employees /contractors and Conduct training sessions as defined in the approved Training Matrix.
•Hold discussions with the Rig Pad supervisors/managers on safety matters such as safety performance, legislation, permits to work etc. and environmental matters.
•Establish and maintain scheduled HSE Rig Pad audits and document in the Company Data Capturing Tool (Contractor and NEORig) with remedial work plan following up to complete closure and establish systems and controls to demonstrate improvement.
•Provides Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contractor start up/tear down activities.
•Ensure that third party contractors', tools and equipment are inspected prior to use and correctly certified. In addition, ensure that Rig Pad tools and equipment are subject to regular inspection and certification, where applicable, and that maintenance schedules are in place.
•Participate in the planning of applicable safety meetings/campaigns.
•Participate in Rig Pad 'tool box' talks with the site labor.
•Provides leadership in developing measures and practices thatprevent incidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
•Inspects and evaluates the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards.
•Monitors the workplace to ensure employees follow safe practices in manufacturing.
•Develops a safety program and safety policy.
•Organizes and participates in workplace safety and health planning meetings and a quarterly safety committee meeting.
•Coordinates safety training, ensuring managers, supervisors, and safety committee members have the appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and investigation training.
•Ensures that managers/supervisors provide adequate and substantial safety training and information to workers.
•Continuously assesses engineering controls, administrative controls, and PPE.
•Coordinates the investigation and reporting of all incidents and near misses.
