Job Purpose

  • Lead and execute the implementation of strategies, policies, systems, processes, procedures, initiatives and programmes under Maintenance Management Solutions to enhance and sustain the Group's operational excellence and capability, assets reliability and integrity to achieve maximum value returns, world class performance standards and competitive advantage for PETRONAS core businesses (Upstream & Downstream).

Key Accountabilities

  1. Asset Management Solutions for Group & External Parties Execute and support Groupwide Maintenance Management Solutions and improvement targets, plans and initiatives from the Annual Business Planning & Budget through engagement with key stakeholders and benchmarking with relevant internal and external proven industrial best practices and implement appropriate solutions in the area of Maintenance Management to contribute toward attaining superior performing assets for PETRONAS Downstream.

 

  1. Execute and support the Group wide OE Implementation through assessment and gap closure of iPOCS in OE framework and maintenance management systems to achieve and sustain world class operational performance. Develop, maintain and generate monthly Groupwide PETRONAS Maintenance Management System (PMMS) and reports for monthly monitoring and SAP data analysis to comply, achieve and sustain world class asset performance.

 

  1. Lead and implement Maintenance Management program and Technical Solutions initiatives for Groupwide assets through gap assessments and data analysis, and recommend solutions by application of established methodologies, processes, guidelines, technologies and tools. (e.g.: PMMS, FSM, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling and Productivity Survey) and best practices to achieve leading world class asset performance and competitive advantage.

 

  1. Lead and execute TIPS implementation plan for Groupwide Plant Technical Integrity through planning and implementing application of established processes, tools and methodologies (e.g. SCE Management, Facility Status Management (FSM)) in compliance to governing PTS and regulations to maintain asset integrity and prevent Major Accident Event (MAE).

 

  1. Lead and execute implementation of PETRONAS Technical Standards (PTS), Process Safety Mechanical Integrity and MCF elements by recommending and implementing value added solutions based on data analysis, simulation and evaluation in the area of Maintenance Management to adhere to international standards, PTS, HSEMS and MCF requirement at Downstream facilities.

 

  1. Execute and support the development and deployment of Groupwide PETRONAS Standardized and Specialized Engineering Solutions (e.g. PMMS, FSM) by incorporating industry and group-wide best practices and lessons learnt, instill innovation and continuous enhancement covering operation, maintenance and project delivery to improve Groupwide plant safety.

 

  1. Lead and implement asset management solutions and assessments for Capital Projects and Specialized Project Engineering by incorporating and conducting structured risk assessment, analyzing the data, recommending solutions pertaining to Maintenance Management in compliance to PTS, guidelines, international standards and project specification requirements.

 

  1. Develop and execute ACD plans by involvement in coaching, mentoring, attachments and assignments to expedite self-capability and competency to meet Time to Autonomy and upward progression to TP level.
