The International Logistics Specialist are responsible for managing international movements of assets, products, and materials upon the request of the Operational Planning (OP) Resource Coordinator(s) or Materials Control Tower (MCT) Supply Specialist. Candidate should be able to plan and allocate third-party resources to execute the shipment, and coordinate with the GeoMarket Domestic Planning Specialist for domestic movements to/from the country port exit/entry. In addition, candidate need to optimize equipment utilization, select the most cost effective routings, comply with the selection of preferred contracted carriers, and secure delivery as per the established service level.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Plan shipments to meet the required delivery dates from operations and identify consolidation opportunities.
  • Ensure the maximum usage of Schlumberger contracted rates when arranging shipments.
  • Manage operational logistics transactions with the logistics suppliers.
  • Be the GeoMarket/Support Center (customer) focal point for all international logistics movements.
  • Ensure full compliance of all transports with the international transport regulations.
  • Monitor cargo moves status and performances, and investigate deviations.
  • Perform real-time tracking and monitoring of all shipments and communicate any deviations with stakeholders.
  • Implement proactive and corrective measures combined with appropriate communication when early warning signs of deviation are detected.
  • Manage international logistics movements ensuring compliance with Schlumberger policies.
  • Ensure full compliance of all transports with the international transport regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring the proper storage of electronic documents in the system.
  • Be the interface between the Import/Export teams and assure smooth communication flow between all parties.
  • Participate in the performance analysis meeting.
  • Responsible for monitoring and data capture of logistics milestones in the business system.
  • Report any deviation and follow up on action plan.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Transportation / Supply Chain / Business Administration.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze large amount of data and information objectively, and make quick decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power Point
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaborative skills
  • Understanding of general logistics processes / local logistics rules and regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure and commitment to service quality and process improvement
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to demonstrate principled leadership with sound business ethics and consistency with principles, values, and behavior
