The Specialty Catalysts, CRI and Zeolyst
Technical Service team is responsible for delivering technical services in support of CRI and Zeolyst International (ZI, a partly Shell owned JV catalyst company) specialty catalyst business in Asia.
This role exists to principally:
1. Service CRI and zeolitic catalyst ( Cracker & aromatics) sales by providing high quality technical service to customers using CRI/Zeolyst Catalysts
2. Support existing product line sales and lead new business development activities for hydrogenation and aromatics zeolitic application area, in target markets, by using technical & commercial expertise, to help meet business growth targets.
3. Provide input for planning for longer terms sales and growth by giving quality technical direction, input and market feedback to Catalyst R&D programs to maintain incumbency and be well positioned for winning new business.

Develops catalyst sales proposals to grow future business, both for retaining existing as well as winning new customers, using advanced techniques and modeling tools
Leads moderate risk/routine customer catalyst start-ups/regenerations
Provides detailed technical support to customers using advanced techniques and modeling tools to maintain the incumbency
Analyses/interprets catalyst performance data, troubleshoots complicated operating issues and provides specialist advice to the customer sharing best technical solutions
Contributes to training of other technical service engineers
Based on knowledge of the marketplace, provide input to R&D program goals for new catalyst product development
Supports Business Manager in the sales and negotiation of catalyst products, with existing sales of ~US$10 million per year and a targeted growth to US$20 million per year
Builds relationships with customer technical experts and technical buyers
Tailors offerings to customers' needs
Able to handle multiple customer prospects
