Duties & Responsibilities

Purpose
To provide assistance to Senior Pipelines Engineers in support of Oceaneering Pipelines team deliverables.
Functions
ESSENTIAL
• Maintain filing systems/databases
• Preparation of CTRs and mobilisation requests
• Preparation of invoices and support to cost tracking
• Preparation and management of document transmittals
• Maintain report registers and trackers
• Support the preparation of inspection workpacks
• Gather data from engineering drawings as instructed
• Assist with maintenance of integrity registers and project plans
• Assist in review of incoming workflow as instructed by senior engineers
• Assist with retrieval of project specific technical data
• Assist in preparation and collation of client reporting
• Produce accurate report/results as per engineers instructions
• Prepare slides for engineer's presentations
• Operate Pipelines Databases and client MMS (i.e Maximo)
• Interface with ACET support to ensure workflow is efficient

NON-ESSENTIAL
  • The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post
  • Assist with any other duties as and when required
  • Undertake specific projects as instructed by management

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
Reporting Relationship
  • Role will report to a Senior Project Manager.


Qualifications

REQUIRED
  • Minimum Standard Grades education
  • Appropriate post secondary school engineering study/qualifications e.g. HNC/HND qualification or working towards qualification
  • Extensive previous work experience may be taken in lieu of further qualifications

    DESIRED
  • Previous experience in a technical/engineering assistant role
