Purpose : To manage and administer Pension arrangements for all Shell entities in India in a manner that is compliant with local Statuatory norms and Shell Governance standards;
Management of the Provident Fund Trusts in India
Management of the Gratuity Trusts in India
Management of the Superannuation Trusts in India
Collaborate with Global Pensions and Finance to ensure sound governance of the investments being managed
As trustee support unit, work with the respective Board of Trustees in proactive and reactive measures as required
To conduct periodic audits of Trust documents & proceedings in conjunction with relevant experts in the field
To coordinate and manage end to end all statutory compliances as required by relevant authorities
To coordinate the appointment of Investment advisory, 3rd party administrators, auditors along with Board Of Trustees
To review external trends in the pensions space e.g. NPS
To be abreast of changes in statutory requirements at the state and central levels
Role requires management of significant corpus and acts as a custodian of the retirement benefits for > 7000 employees in India
Role requires significant engagement with internal stakeholders (Pension trust boards, HR colleagues, group pensions etc.) and external stakeholders (Pension administrator partners).
