Title
SR. INVENTORY SUPERVISOR, COMMODITY

Primary Purpose of Job
Plan and implement inventory control techniques for re-ordering and replenishment of stocks in a timely manner in all QP Warehouses for continuity in supply of materials to end users. Analyse and implement strategies to optimize the Inventory for assigned commodities. Classify and manage effective and efficient processing of all new stocking materials commodities against SPIRs/ SPFs for new projects/EPIC/PCRs. Ensuring technical accuracy and systematic processing of the material code changes and obsolescence requests including verification process to regularize SAP data.

Education
Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 12 years experience in Materials Inventory Planning and Supply Chain Management in Oil/Gas/Petrochem industry.

•Develop material requirements plans on computerized Inventory Control system. Experience in Materials Master cataloguing and Standardization using latest software and techniques.

•Extensive knowledge in electronically managing Maintenance and Engineering spare parts.

•Offer technical expertise to cross-functional project teams.

• Well versed with ERP and MRP process in Materials Inventory, Procurement and Maintenance (Work order) System.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP.

• Analytical skills in materials requirement forecasting.

• Comprehensive understanding of engineering materials within the Oil and Gas industry, and related specifications, standards, drawings and spare part interchange ability.
