~~As the Local Content Coordinator the successful candidate will:
o Help set up and lead a Local Supplier Forum in country in early October
o Deliver business requirements in accordance with company policies, Delegation of Authority and FCPA requirements
o Generate and Maintain a tracking register of Local Suppliers
o Contact Suppliers and update contact information (name, phone, email, address) in register
o Request Suppliers to complete and submit Capabilities Questionnaire
o Perform initial review of Capabilities Questionnaire
o Review Questionnaires for completeness and ask Suppliers to provide any missing information
o Gather feedback from Operations on experience with Suppliers (if any)
o Present initial recommendation/rating to Project on Supplier capabilities
o Collaborate with Project team to identify priority list of Local Suppliers to contact and visit
o In coordination with Project, follow up with physical audit of vendor's facilities
o Perform local visits/shop tours
o Present updated findings and revised recommendation/rating to Project
o Facilitate Project interviews with highly-rated prospective Suppliers
o Liaise with Project contractors and coordinate discussions with Suppliers for subcontract opportunities
o Report details on subcontract opportunities facilitated to Project
• As a Project Buyer the successful candidate will be responsible for procurement activities as follows:
o Research and identify Local Suppliers capable of providing the necessary goods or services
o Perform any required pre-qualification checks on supplier(s) including, coordinating with Corporate Compliance and Legal Departments in order to perform applicable Due Diligence
o Develop recommended bidders lists for goods and services to be purchased locally to support the Project
o As directed by Project Supply Chain Manager:
? Develop Request for Proposal (RFP) packages with support from the Project team
? Issue RFPs to approved bidders as per Corporate processes/procedures
? Field questions from bidders during bid phase
? Schedule and coordinate bid openings
? Perform evaluation of bids including generating and issuing clarification requests, generating bid comparison, and ultimately Recommendation to Award.
o Prepare Purchase Order or Service Order to recommended bidder
