Job Summary

This position is located in Anadarko's Rockies Region as a member of the DJ Basin Field Business Process Team in Platteville, CO

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in business administration and/ or administrative in oil & gas, preferred

  • Understanding of basic SAP required

  • Experience working in oil and gas operations preferred

  • Understanding of well plug and abandonment processes

  • Understanding of location reclamation

  • Understanding of oil and gas construction / decommissioning

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment, support and meet project milestones, and work on multiple projects in conjunction with other requirements

  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary company data and information

  • Self-starter and motivated learner that is able to work both independently with minimum supervision and within a collective group to support project requirements

  • Experience in the use of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial support through accurate and efficient invoice coding for assigned personnel. Use of SAP financial software and the Anadarko general ledger account structure.

  • Provide support to team in AFE submittals, WO requests, and reports pertaining to these.

  • Maintain strong relationship with vendors and internal personnel to ensure efficiency and accuracy on payments

  • Provide assistance to internal and external customers concerning invoices, data management, and other audit inquiries

  • Maintain simple databases, or use spreadsheets to conduct reviews of various data points

  • SAP/WINS/ANORM Lookups

  • Provide administrative support to various departments or individuals as needed to backup department co-workers

  • Standard invoice coding for certain groups and backup coding for PTO coverage (SAP)

  • Assist with developing and testing new systems

  • Follow all company procedures and established guidelines

  • Maintain compliance with proper regulatory reporting and guidelines SOX and COPAS

  • Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with Anadarko's Core Values

     

 

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

 

Certifications/ Licenses

Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.

 

Relocation

This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.

 

 

Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.

 

Work Schedule

This position is on a Monday through Friday 40 hour per week work schedule.

Candidate must live within 50-miles of Platteville, CO.
