Job Responsibility
Manage Automotive Engine Oils performance demonstration (design and execution) through testing and qualification programs and provide technical support to the Sales team.
• Design and execute product qualification and approval programs for the AEO Product Line
• Provide technical support to APR customers and other Product Qualification teams globally
• Run programs in compliance with OEMs and Industry codes of practice
• Provide work direction to PQ Program Assistants who execute the details of the desired testing plans
• Plan and coordinate non-program projects (process improvements, tool enhancements/integration, and consult on component development)
Job Requirements
• Master’s degree in Science/Engineering (desirably Chemistry/Chemical Engineering) or above
• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in chemical industry, preferably in lubricant industry
• Able to conduct In-depth technical/business discussion in English
• Projects execution with working team within negotiated timelines and within approved budgets. Priorities management. CPDEP/CSOC techniques. Sense of urgency. Rigorous and organized methodology.
• Ability to coordinate activities globally and cooperate with internal customers (MM, AM, Formulators…).
• Experience (or ability) in process improvement. Ability to analyze and resolve problems of various complexity.
• Team Work and Chevron Way Behaviors
• Experience with automotive lubricants, lab work, testing, formulations, industry and OEMs (mechanical and chemical) highly preferred
• PC skills such as Excel, Word, PPT etc. Competencies in modeling/ interpret results preferred.
