Chevron Oronite is accepting online applications for the position of E&I Technician located in Jurong Island, Singapore through March 29, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Carries out preventive maintenance of electrical equipment (motor, variable speed drive, lighting, switchgear, etc) and process instrumentation (transmitter, valve, analyzer, tank gauge system, weighing system, etc.)
- Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, calibrates, and commissions E&I equipment
- Develops and reviews Job Safety Risk Analysis and Procedures
- Documents and maintains all field observations and activities
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry
- Possess hands-on experience in handling hi-tech E&I equipment would be a definite advantage
- Strong analytical & trouble-shooting skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Some knowledge on PLC will be preferred
- Able to work independently and in teams
- Candidates with experience in leading teams and/or projects could qualify for lead role
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
