Our client requires a Commercial Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Priorities will be Commercial invoicing, ensuring correct line items are invoiced to client for each project.
  • Cost tracking / margin management on individual projects, monitoring actual expenditure against project budgets.
  • Forecasting for projects.
  • Deal with customer's project enquiries and problems, as well as forwarding specific technical queries on to appropriate Project Managers
  • Communicate with all stakeholders on status, condition and progress of projects where appropriate.
  • Provide logistical/operational overview of Projects at all times.
  • Co-ordinate manpower levels within Projects for efficiency.
  • Production of weekly resource activity reports
  • Tool and utilisation measurement for each project
  • Facilitation of weekly project and operational meetings, compiling minutes/action registers.
  • Updating of monthly performance management system and generating reports for Senior Management on operational and financial performance.
  • Arrange personnel travel when required.
  • Effective communication with Project Managers to ensure smooth operation of operational aspects within client projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role requires a background in project finance coordination, at an administrative / cost tracking level. 
  • Candidates must have proven experience in tracking and forecasting of individual project costs across a number of projects.
  • Candidates should have Advanced Excel skills.
