Peterson recruitment are currently recruiting for a Marine Logistics Coordinator ? Logistics Planning & Co-ordination for the following work based on a 4/4 rotation is West Africa.
1.a) Provide logistics support onshore personnel to plan and co-ordinate Cargo and supply
1.b) Provide processes and ongoing maintenance of a robust contractor training and
competency matrix for all personnel. Such matrix also needs to address all relevant
sub-contracted personnel (core and ad-hoc).
1.c) The capability and training requirements for subcontracted personnel shall meet or
exceed contractors competency and training standards.
1.d) Provide onshore logistics co-ordinators to effectively co-ordinate and manage the Cargo
planning and vessel scheduling for company. Personnel will be based in
company's head office and supervised by company personnel. Key
•Responsibility for ensuring offshore logistics co-ordinator is consulted to ensure offshore readiness for Cargo (reduce/eliminate round trip Cargo).
•Participation in the daily logistics planning meetings and provide input into the regional vessel/ sailing schedule.
•Liaising with OTHER CONTRACTORS regarding purchase orders for GOO, GWO & GPO Cargo.
•Maintaining and updating COMPANY's logistics system
•Responsibility for communications and maintaining working relationship with all key stakeholders (internal/external).
•Liaising with bulk service provider and marine service desk to ensure timely load out of bulk products.
•Populating quarterly demand profile for assigned asset and participate in logistics quarterly planning meeting to identify and escalate any conflicts
1.e) Provide onshore marine service desk PERSONNEL to effectively co-ordinate and manage
COMPANY's Berthing and vessel movements (includes Cargo and bulk berthing
management including movements at third party premises). The WORK INCLUDES:
•Port, transit and offshore communications and management PERSONNEL.
•Service provision to be based on a 24hr/7day per week coverage.
•PERSONNEL Working 4 Day, 12 Hour shift rotations or similar Working arrangement.
•Arranging and managing provision and coordination of vessel bulk tank cleaning SERVICES and removal of resulting slops to waste processor. Note: Tank
•Cleaning will only be carried out by COMPANY's APPROVED tank cleaning OTHER CONTRACTORS.
•Arranging bulk loadings and discharges to and from COMPANY nominated supply vessels.
•Liaising with COMPANY's bulk product OTHER CONTRACTORS, Fuel & Water OTHER CONTRACTORS in regards to the provision of their bulks.
•Recording and providing relevant p0ort authority with all required data for any port and Cargo dues associated with vessels employed or Working on COMPANY's behalf.
•Provide ships agency service for turnarounds including, but not limited to, light dues, pilotage, boatman service, and any regional governmental activity
•reporting. Managing application of CONTRACTOR's water and fuel sampling surveys and bulking procedures.
