Job Summary

This position is located in Midland, TX as a member of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) group supporting the OCTG category through various capacities, including but not limited to: administrative duties, purchase orders, inventory management processes, logistic blanket order performance and reporting activities.



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or administrative experience within the Oil/Gas industry with Operator, Service or Engineering Company.

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and interpersonal skills to effectively influence change and return additional value to the asset.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to work effectively under tight deadlines are required.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal Stakeholders as well as with external suppliers.

  • Proven ability to assess, prioritize and respond to urgent situations on a timely basis.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working experience with SAP, MS Access, and Spotfire is strongly preferred.



  • Create ZSCO (Call Out) purchase orders from invoices received against existing quantity contracts.

  • Issue item price changes to OCTG quantity contracts as required.

  • Create OCTG vendor return purchase orders and ensure all vendor credit is received.

  • Manage exception handling for all OCTG invoices that that cannot post.

  • Assist in researching partner audit exceptions for OCTG casing and tubing charged to well AFEs.

  • Ensure that all OCTG invoice payments are issued within the applicable early payment discount time period.

  • Monitor third-party inventory performance and address any imbalance issues with the OCTG Coordinators on a real time basis.

  • Ensure weekly storage yard reports are received and distributed to OCTG Coordinators.

  • Assist OCTG Coordinators in developing and maintaining weekly inventory reports to be sent to stakeholders.

  • Perform monthly OCTG inventory desk audits to support company internal controls of OCTG assets.

  • Ensure all OCTG inventory material movements are communicated with Accounting on a real time basis to ensure AFEs are appropriately charged and/or credited.

  • Assist OCTG Coordinators in conducting physical inventory counts.

  • Develop Monthly Logistics Report for OCTG Group.

  • Monitor Logistics blanket orders for adherence to contract terms and expirations.

  • Monitor logistics savings reporting and carrier rotation methodology.

  • Over time price book entries may be required.

  • Pool car management.



High school diploma or GED is required. Associates degree preferred.



This position may be eligible for relocation.


Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-5%.


Work Schedule

This position is eligible for the 5/40 or 9/80 work schedule.
