This position is located in Carrizo Springs, TX as a member of Midstream Operations Health, Safety & Environmental Team. Position will be responsible for the management/coordination of Health & Safety activities associated with our operations in South Texas.
Two (2) + years of Health, Safety & Environmental experience in oil & gas.
Broader knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues, procedures, and regulations as they apply Oil and Gas operations (Midstream and/or Exploration & Production).
Effective interpersonal skills dealing with personnel at various levels and in a variety of functions.
Ability to challenge the organization in a manner that maintains trust and respect.
Proficient technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner.
Partner with Field Operations and Engineering teams to provide process safety support (i.e. Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), Management of Change (MOC), and Process Hazards Assessments (PHA's).
Support the operations team with safe work practices including Lockout Tag out, Hot Work and other HS&E programs.
Conduct incident investigations with effective cause mapping methodology and corrective actions identified and tracked to completion.
Support operations in Spill Reporting and Remediation, along with compliance with SPCC and NORM regulation and program requirements.
Conduct field reviews of locations to ensure compliance with appropriate programs and plans.
Participate on the Anadarko's Incident Management Team for Emergency Response.

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or other related field required.
Valid driver's license with no restriction that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.
This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.
This position is on the 5/40 work schedule.
Successful candidate must live within an 85 mile driving distance of the Carrizo Springs field office
