Our client now has an immediate requirement for a business analyst to join them on a long term contract basis. Only those with the Right to Work in the UK should apply. Raeburn do not have the ability to provide visa sponsorship, therefore current valid ability to work in the UK is required

§Technical/Functional - In line with PMO & ITIL frameworks, provide;
oBusiness Analysis and Project Management skills.
oApplication support expertise by defining new requirements or enhancing existing solutions. Business Process Re-engineering.
oBusiness Application Testing, Training, Change Management and Go-live activities.
oSoftware Solution/Supplier Selection (in accordance with procurement procedures).
oVendor Coordination and Negotiation (i.e. raising, validating and managing requests on behalf of business users).
oReview of change/enhancement requests to ensure there is business justification, cost effective and technically sound.
oMaintain application documentation in accordance with prevailing practices.
oAdhere to IT Change Control procedures.
oLiaise with software suppliers to ensure cost effective, consistent, robust and reliable solutions are implemented and maintained to the quality and SLAs agreed. This includes familiarisation with the relevant vendors product, support programme and upgrade plans.

§IT Degree Qualified or similar experience in role
§Business Analysis British Computer Society qualification or similar Project Management PRINCE2 or similar experience in role

§Business Analysis, Project Management & Application Support
§Experience of Information Security & GDPR regulations
§Experience of commercial engagement with suppliers during software tender evaluations
§Problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills
§Experience of preparing and presenting key project information to stakeholders
§Knowledge of Oil and Gas Upstream Technology and Application Landscapes would be an advantage
§Knowledge of IT technical landscapes related to infrastructure would be an advantage
