We are handling a staff opportunity for a Commercial Manager.

§ Ensuring the Operations/Project Directors and their teams are aware of, and comply with, the contractual obligations set out in the client contracts.
§ Providing contractual and commercial support to the project teams including: drafting of contract amendments/variations, development of commercial strategies, management of risk and delivery of the maximum return within the existing contract frameworks.
§ Working closely with contracts and the bid team to provide commercial responses and pricing for allocated tenders including assisting with the review and interpretation of contractual terms and conditions and their subsequent negotiation.
§ Providing guidance to the project teams on company's DOA and RRC requirements and approvals and ensure that all work is approved in line with company and client requirements.
§ Identifying and reporting on key risks and issues that may impact company contractual or commercial performance and ensure that these risks are escalated and included on the functional risk register.
§ Being focal point for customers on commercial and contractual matters and provide contractual support and guidance to direct reports where required.
§ Working with the procurement team to ensure that on each contract there is a clear definition of the required back to back terms on all subcontract being let or negotiated and where required be part of the process of negotiating sub-contracts.
§ Managing the commercial personnel that allocated support Duty Holder and Operations projects.
