Training and Competency Advisor
The main responsibilities of the T&D Advisor are to match training and development initiatives to existing and future requirements of the business. This includes highlighting compliance with our training and competence management processes. The role will support the creation and execution of critical people development initiatives which supports talent management and succession planning.
Roles and responsibilities
To be considered you must as a minimum be well versed in competence management and have proven and significant experience of delivering structured development programmes using internal and external support. This will include technical training skills, people management and any other specific development needs. You will have established networks with private and public bodies who support people development. Excellent knowledge of the Apprenticeship Levy and proven application is a must.
The successful candidate will be the one who can evidence significant experience influencing and building relationships which deliver tangible results. You will have a proven record of developing talent and be able to show how this supported business goals. You will work well within a team, have excellent communication skills with a focus on people and safety. It is preferable that you have an L&D qualification however proven delivery of learning and development initiatives is essential. Presentation skills are needed along with a good level of competence with Microsoft applications.
