Job Description

  • Carrying out legal research: finding out current interpretation of applicable laws, Court decisions, legal articles and writings to support legal advice and implementation.
  • Drafting legal documents: including general notice, cover letters, and other types of documents focusing on (i) internal and external Power of Attorneys ("POA") - to support general operation and business transactions of Shell TH. For the POAs, directly contact all stakeholders to obtain concerns, draft scope of authority, and manage time constraint to get the document done on time, and (ii) corporate documents - support Shell TH Company Secretary to draft all corporate documents including invitations for directors and shareholders' meetings, minutes of meetings, applications and supporting documents for corporate registrations, and etc.
  • Case preparation and administrative duties: assist internal and external lawyers gather and prepare all supporting documents, e.g. invoices, delivery notes, applications and etc., for court cases as well as drafting documents to support general court procedures e.g. drafting POAs for filing criminal/ civil cases, placing/ releasing guaranty, and etc.
  • Maintain database/record: such as Shell TH corporate registration/filing, contracts & litigations filing, LDMS Focal Point and document entry, and other actions in support of Legal, Finance, HR, Provident Fund and all Shell businesses. Works directly and independently with a wide range of people across Shell.
  • Oversees handling of mail and correspondence records incl. other general clerk duties such as answering phone calls, taking messages, photocopying documents.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree of Law / 2-3 years of experience.
Good command in English
Ability to adapt to change and complex working exvironment
